Marketing Pre-paid Events
Any cancellation to pre-paid Marketing events at any HO JIAK GROUP Restaurant must be notified within 72 hours of the event’s date or based on the specified Terms & Conditions of the said event otherwise charges will occur.

Customer Service Policy
HO JIAK GROUP is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. 

Refund Policy
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund or exchange where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, or are different to the product purchased on the website.

Security Policy
When purchasing or booking from HO JIAK GROUP Restaurants, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is estimated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact us. 

Gift Vouchers
Treat this card or digital card like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost, or stolen cards will not be replaced. Not redeemable for cash. Cash will not be given for any unused balance. Purchases exceeding the available balance require the difference to be paid by other methods. In the event of any dispute, the decision of HO JIAK GROUP is final. This physical card or digital card is valid across all HO JIAK GROUP Restaurants unless otherwise stated.

This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect, or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

Cancellation Policy for Normal Reservations

We know plans can change and we will be happy to assist in rescheduling your table where possible. If you wish to reschedule or adjust your booking before the 24 hour notice period, you may do so via the booking link in your confirmation email.

A minimum notice period of 24 hours is required to cancel a booking or to change the number of guests attending. This request must be submitted in writing via email to: [email protected] or by phone at (02) 8040 0252.

Online changes are not able to be done within 24 hours prior to the booking. Cancellations, no shows or changes to the numbers (20% or more of group size cancelled) within the 24 hours notice period will result in a $20 per person charge made to your nominated credit card.

Please note that we are unable to transfer your booking to another branch internally and kindly request that you book for the right venue or make a new booking for the branch you wish to visit. Wrong venue bookings will be charged as per cancellation or no show fees due to the tables having been reserved for your party.

Private Room Bookings

Please note that a minimum spending is applicable when booking for a private dining room. If you wish to arrange for a private dining room, please make an enquiry here. A deposit will be required to secure your private room booking. This deposit can be used as credit on your reservation date. Any amount exceeding the deposit will need to be settled on the day.

A minimum notice period of 24 hours is required to cancel a private room booking. This request must be submitted in writing via email to: [email protected] or by phone at (02) 8040 0252. The deposit will be fully refunded if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance. If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of your reservation, the deposit will be forfeited.

Credit Card Surcharge:

Please note a variable surcharge will be applied to all credit and debit card payments.

Sunday & Public Holiday:

Should your reservation fall on a Sunday, a 10% surcharge applies. On public holidays, a 15% surcharge will be added to the total bill.

Exceeding Booking Time Limit:

Please note that there will be a 10% Surcharge fee on top of the total bill, if the booking exceeds 120 minutes (2 hours) or more.

Cancellation Policy for Special Events

Cancellations, no shows or changes to the numbers within 72 hours notice period will incur a loss of full deposit made to your nominated credit card. No credits will be given for cancellations, no shows or changes to the numbers within 72 hours notice period.

Alcohol & decorum:

Ho Jiak Haymarket is fully licensed venue. We do BYO for wines only for normal dining. Corkage fee is $25 per bottle. It is your responsibility to ensure the orderly conduct of your guests. All beverages are subject to seasonal change.

Terms & Conditions for Special In-House Promotions

Late Night Special:
  1. This offer is available from Monday-Saturday from 10pm, with limited time slots, and excludes Sundays & NSW Public Holidays.
  2. This offer is exclusively available via bookings & dine in only (not applicable for takeaway).
  3. This offer cannot combined with any other promotions or vouchers.
  4. Menus are subject to change and depends on the availability on the day. 
  5. Liven payments are not applicable to this offer.
  6. Photo is for illustration purpose only.
  7. A 10% service charge applies on total bills on Sundays.
  8. To cancel or modify your booking, including changes to the number of guests, a minimum of 24 hours’ written notice via email to [email protected] is required. Cancellations, no-shows, or changes within 24 hours will result in the forfeiture of the full deposit charged to your nominated cards. No credits will be issued in these cases.
  9. Ho Jiak Haymarket Management reserves the right to modify these terms & conditions without prior notice.
Tiger Beer Late Night Cheers:
  1. This offer is for $20 (for 4 tiger bottles) or $28 (for 6 tiger bottles).
  2. This offer is valid with a purchase of food (dine in only) and while stock last on every Monday to Saturday from 10PM-12AM (last order at 11.45PM) excluding
    NSW Public Holidays.
  3. Tiger beers cannot be taken away if unfinished, and we are unable to store any remaining beer for you.
  4. Offer is not valid in conjunction with other promotions & vouchers. 
  5. Liven are NOT applicable to this offer and NO split payments allowed.
  6. Ho Jiak Haymarket Management reserves the right to practice Responsible Service of Alcohol. If a customer is visibly highly intoxicated, our management reserves the right to ask them to leave the premises.
  7. Ho Jiak Haymarket reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
$10 Voucher for Ho Jiak Bento Box:
  1. This $10 voucher is only available for redemption in-store for Amah Bento Box (3-choice only) at Ho Jiak Haymarket for your next visit with us.
  2. We will only accept this voucher in its physical form; digital copies or screenshots will not be accepted for redemption.
  3. This voucher is limited to one per customer per transaction and 1 time use only, split bill is not allowed.
  4. This voucher cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or offers and unable to be used on NSW Public Holidays.
  5. This voucher is non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash.
  6. This voucher has no cash value and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  7. Dishes are subject to change and availability. Images used for reference only.
  8. Ho Jiak Group Management reserves the right to modify or cancel this voucher at any time without prior notice.
Ho Jiak Bento Box Loyalty Card Program:
  1. This loyalty card is valid at Ho Jiak Haymarket, Ho Jiak Strathfield and Amah by Ho Jiak for both takeaway and dine-in. 
  2. Ho Jiak Group is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards. Replacement cards will not carry over previously earned stamps.
  3. With every purchase of a bento box (2 or 3 choices), you will earn 1 stamp. Stamps will be issued at the time of purchase and cannot be added at a later date.
  4. Drinks options may vary depending on the venue’s availability.
  5. We will only accept this loyalty card in its physical form at the moment; digital copies or screenshots will not be accepted for redemption.
  6. This loyalty card cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or offers and unable to be used on NSW Public Holidays.
  7. This loyalty card is non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash and can only be used by the cardholder.
  8. This loyalty card has no cash value and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  9. By using the loyalty card, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for program administration and marketing purposes in accordance with the company’s privacy policy.
  10. Amah by Ho Jiak Management reserves the right to modify or cancel this voucher at any time without prior notice.
